When the semi tiled shell with a measuring box is exposed to harsh outdoor environments, it will exhibit the following behaviors:
1. Temperature aspect
High temperature: Under prolonged exposure to the scorching sun, the surface temperature of the shell will sharply rise. Due to the different thermal expansion coefficients of materials such as bricks and metals, frequent high temperature and cooling cycles can easily cause loosening of connection parts and increased gaps between different materials, affecting the overall structural stability and sealing performance; Internal measuring equipment may also experience a decrease in electronic component performance and shortened lifespan due to overheating, increasing the probability of failure.
Low temperature: In cold outdoor environments, shell materials, especially plastic and rubber seals, will become hard and brittle, greatly reducing waterproof and dustproof performance. Moisture and dust will take advantage of this and erode the internal measuring circuits and components, causing short circuits or inaccurate readings.
2. In terms of humidity
Wet rainfall: when the outdoor rainstorm and high humidity weather are frequent, rainwater erosion will erode the tile surface, make some bricks fall off, damage the shell appearance, and may also cause rainwater infiltration. Once there is water accumulation inside, it will accelerate the rusting and corrosion of metal components. For precision sensors and circuits in the measuring box, humid environments can easily cause problems such as short circuits and signal interference, leading to inaccurate measurements.
Dew condensation: In the early morning, dew easily condenses on the surface of the shell. Being in such a humid microenvironment for a long time, even if the sealing of the shell is still good, moisture will slowly penetrate and harm the internal components. For some measuring devices that rely on optical principles, water vapor adheres to key parts such as the lens, interfering with light transmission and causing measurement deviation.
3. Wind and sand
Strong wind: Under the raging wind, the semi brick shell bears a large wind pressure. If not installed firmly, there is a risk of being overturned or displaced as a whole; Moreover, wind impact will accelerate the wear of brick edges, causing them to loosen and fall, further weakening the shell protection.
Sand and dust: Sand and dust particles collide with the shell at high speed with the wind, scratching the surface and wearing down the adhesive between the tiles and the shell, giving sand and dust the opportunity to penetrate into the interior. Well worn measuring components, such as gears and bearings, once they enter the sand, their operation will be hindered and the measuring accuracy will be damaged.
4. In terms of ultraviolet radiation: Prolonged exposure to the outdoors can cause strong ultraviolet radiation, leading to fading and aging of the tiles, reducing the aesthetic appearance of the shell, and decreasing the physical properties of the tiles, such as reduced strength and increased susceptibility to breakage, resulting in gaps in the protective layer and inability to provide comprehensive protection for the measuring box.
